Six easy summer 2022 nail designs:
Swirls are perhaps one of the biggest nail trends of the year. But if you’re creating the look at home you don’t have to go too big with it.
Try a simple solo swirl on each nail with three colors – as @formechloe demonstrates.
Give your talons a fiery and eye-catching makeover with some flame nail art. The great thing about flame designs is they don’t have to be identical, so there’s room for experimentation.
Pink and red has been a popular combo for the past few years now, but these adorable paint splatter nails look so intricate and feature a cool sheer center. Have fun creating your own.
Color mani and dot combo
Give your rainbow French tips manicure a contemporary update by adding a little dot at the top. For a delicate, additional touch.
Reverse on each
Reversed designs mix things up and this one from @_formeLizzy is a nod to 70s flower power.
Use the same colors but simply flip them around on the second nail, to tie the look together.
Hot off the heels of the Y2K revival, butterfly nails are one of the biggest trends of the summer.
For an easy DIY option, try a half butterfly outline on two nails (to make a whole) in one color and paint the others the matching shade – as seen by @nailbarmke.
Daisy nails were a key trend of last summer (and no doubt will flow into this one as well), but why not opt for something a little different like this blue-centered design?
