Noizefront: How did you get started and how did the band meet?
Rs: Well we met when we were young ginger school boys attending class and had
to walk to school everyday past the jizzum monkeys... {laughs}.. Nah fuck that, I don't even remember
school... But yeah we met because I was asked to come to Paris to play with a band as a tour drummer back in 1998 after I had quit
the Drag Queens, the band was Undercover Slut and well lets just say that when I got there nothing was what I was told prior to
arriving. We went into rehearsal and there was nothing but problems with the band, they were fighting with one another and in bad
shape with the personalities in the band. Kill was the song writer and guitar player for them, I was staying with him in his flat
while i was in Paris, we became great friends.. Started working on some demos he had there of new material, I flew back to America
and got a call a few months later. He had quit the band and wanted to pick up where we left off on those demos. Now here we are 8
years later getting ready to fuck up
the UK on our upcoming tour !!!! It was meant to be this way !

Noizefront: Is it difficult to work in a band when you are both living in other
countries?
Rs: Yes and No, I mean it does have it's advantages and also disadvantages . . It is always great to be able to take off to Paris and
record and all, but at the same time it is hard when you just want to hang out or work on new material.. But luckily with the way
tech. Is today and the Internet we spend a lot of time sending back and forth files.. So it isn't too bad really, it depends on the
moment. Our drummer is from the
UK... So we have 3 countries covered...

Noizefront: Where you got your band name from and
what inspired you?
RS: I have no clue, it was just something that came to
me... That happens to me often it is the  best way thinks
just come to me without thought or in dreams or I
remember something that may have never happened but
it seems it did and it is a memory ? So it can mean a lot
of different things to different people you
can make it what you will..

Noizefront: Do you feel that your band is also an art
piece visually?
Rs: Well in pictures and to look at us yes I would say
so, and our music is the art of our minds.
Your favourite song that you have written and why? I think that changes from day to day week to week, depending on my mood ? I
mean I like all the songs for different reasons they are all very personal to me, they are about my  life.

Noizefront: Your favourite song to perform?
Rs: Watch and see when we hit the UK then you
tell me which one is the best live ?!!!!
Noizefront: Name one band you would like to tour with.
RS: Depends on the country... There
are a lot of bands that I think our music could go well with, would be great
to do a tour with 69Eyes in Finland or Europe. And of course Depeche
Mode.

Noizefront: Do you have any plans to tour internationally?
RS: Well we are slated to start our UK tour sometime in late Nov-dec.
Of this year and yeah we will of course play anywhere that there are
promoters who want to book us.  We want to play everywhere and we
will eventually.

Noizefront: What should fans expect from a live show?
RS: Art in motion with a sonic boom !

Noizefront: How would you describe your music to some one.
RS: I would just tell them to listen for themselves...

Noizefront: Do you feel you have matured as a musician since your days with FDQ and
Lunatic Candy Kreep?
RS: I wasn't in Lunatic Candy Kreep, I managed the band for
a short time and also directed their music video for "Suck". Rayen and I
were great friends from our days in Silly Scream together, so that is how

because as long as I breath anything is possible. As far as me and Wednesday ever playing together again on stage ? ? I know there
are tons of fans who are waiting for that minute who never got to see the Drag Queens back in the day ? That offer hasn't been laid
on the table yet ! I guess it would depend on the moment, and if the planets were in the right place!

Noizefront: Tell me a tour story...
RS: Kill X and myself were in Hollywood meeting with video directors earlier this year and we were invited out for a night on the
town, well of course we ended up at the Rainbow... We were having a great time and there were many people there who recognized
who we were. The next thing you know many drinks are coming and coming and coming and well all going down our throats
(wouldn't want to be rude) and I will never turn down
a free drink. Kill isn't much of a drinker like myself especially whiskey and
the sorts. Long story short we have a table that is overflowing with people everywhere and there is a pizza in the center I look up at
Kill and he doesn't look to be doing to well and the next thing you know he lets it all
go, I mean everywhere I thought it was like some fucking hose or some shit
like a water park of vomit...lol.. He was puking all over the table, all over
the pizza all over some chics sitting next to him .. It was fucking great, I mean no one even acted like it was happening they just kept
talking and laughing and shit while he puked all over them and everything. The next day  we were being taken back to where we were
staying in Hollywood and driving  down Sunset and while waiting at a traffic light Kill was in action again,  without warning he flung
the door open and fucking projectile vomited like 10  feet onto the guys nice shiny BMW next to us... The guy looked like he was
about to die and I think ran the red light.{laughs} Damn that was entertaining to me {grins}

Noizefront: Do you think that Undercover Slut and
Electra-Kill may work together in the  future ?

RS: I never say never, but I wouldn't wait around for
that to ever
happen!

Noizefront: I have read that you and Seaweed are still
working together and that his is  involved with your
band…is he going to be playing live for you on your
upcoming tour?
RS: No he is not playing with us, we wanted him to
and he was suppose to be a part of the live band and
he was given every chance time and again to be with
us but he isn't. Seaweed was my best friend in the
Drag Queens and we went through a lot together,
I really do wish he was with us. But right now it is
not meant to be, we have a great fucking Bass player
by
the name of Matthew Bones who I am sure all the
ladies will love !

Noizefront: You love everything from Manson to
Rachel Stamp. Are you influenced by other  types
of media with this band?

RS: First off I have never and am not a fan of
Manson ! I don't have anything against what he does
but it is not what I am into at all, so as far as him no.
Rachel Stamp is a great band who I discovered some
years ago on a trip to London. I am more influenced
by moments, memories and thoughtsThen anything.
Most of all I would say the girls, the body and the pills.
There is no bigger inspiration then that !
Noizefront: That is what happens when you are
researching for an interview and some one gets things
very wrong!

Noizefront: Who is your favourite Artist?
RS: The art and wonderment of Jim Henson

Noizefront: What is the one CD you feel is the most important musical creation ever written?
RS : Ray Charles "Crying Time"

Noizefront: Your current favourite bands and / or songs?
RS: I read mostly books about  movies and film making don't have a current favorite. Songs none at the  moment but I am listening
to Curtis Mayfiled right now if that helps...lol

Noizefront: What is the weirdest / strangest thing you have been sent by a fan?
RS: When I  get it I will let you know, so nothing too weird yet.. Just the usual cards,  pictures, letters, toys ? Cds, dvds...  That sort.

Noizefront: What advise would you like to give someone who wanted to go into this business?
RS: Be true to who you are and don't change for anyone and never give  up on your dream, if it is in you then it will all happen just
the way it is suppose to.

Noizefront: Tell us a random fact about anything...
RS: The ring tone on my phone is "I feel You" by Depeche Mode

Noizefront: What do you do to relax?
RS: Have a whiskey, watch a movie, listen to my vinyl....

Noizefront: Who is your favourite Author?
RS: Anyone who can express themselves in whatever they write/create

Noizefront: What is your favourite movie and what kind of movies do you like?
RS: Shit I can't answer my favorite movie, that is asking too much...lol.. I am a HUGE
movie fanatic, love Italian Giallos, horror, Sexploitation. You get the
picture ! Check out a film called "The House With laughing Windows"

Noizefront: Do you believe in ghosts and have you ever had a creepy experience?
RS: I believe anything is possible ...

Noizefront: Which of the seven deadly sins do you most resemble and why?
RS: Lust of course . . . See above question about influences.

Noizefront: What is your current opinions on Bush and how he handled Katrina.
RS: Don't have one, not my world . .

Rapid Questions: Which do you prefer?

Drums/vocals.
Both depending on the situation, but obviously vocals right
now.. I like the power to be able to express what I write myself instead of
others singing it.

Nail Varnish or no? Don't usually wear nail polish at all...

Paris / New York? Paris of course.

Absinthe / Budweiser? Neither, Jack Daniels

Morrison/Cobain - Well a little bit of both for different reasons .

Lastly:

If a fan were to bring you a care pack while you're on the road, what could
you find inside that would make you smile? A Polaroid camera, a bottle of
Jack and some duct tape!
that all came about ! Of course in time you
learn with each passing day and
life for me is about moving forward
always, no time to step back. I am who I
am today just as I was who I was then, I
am a product of evolution with
every second that passes.

Noizefront: Would you ever tour with
Wednesday again?
RS: That is yet to be seen, I guess time
will only tell .. I really couldn't tell you, but
I know I have had alot of fans who have
said they would love to see a Wednesday
13 & Electra-Kill tour ? We will see what
the future holds I don't count anything out
